EvalYouth ECA volunteers Nino Chikheli and Antonina Rishko-Porcescu represented the region at the Summit for the Future of Evaluation, held on May 29–30, 2025, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The Summit was staged as the flagship event of the wider Evaluation Conclave 2025, which ran from May 27–30 under the theme "Future-Ready Evaluation – Integrating Voices and Localizing Evaluation for Global Impact," hosted by the Community of Evaluators-South Asia (CoE-SA) and the Evaluation Association of Bhutan (EAB). The Conclave and Summit were jointly inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, setting a high-level tone for two days of dialogue on the future of the evaluation field. Drawing inspiration from the UN Summit of the Future and its resulting Pact for the Future, the event called for global collaboration in evaluation to accelerate progress on the Sustainable Development Goals, with a particular focus on meaningful youth engagement and the ethical use of artificial intelligence in evaluation practice. The gathering doubled as a milestone celebration: it marked the fifth anniversary of the Eval4Action campaign and the tenth anniversary of both the EvalYouth Global Network and the Global Parliamentarian Forum for Evaluation (GPFE). Among the highlights was the 2025 Youth in Evaluation Champions Award Ceremony, recognizing organizations around the world for their work empowering young and emerging evaluators — including CEval. The Summit also featured the #EvalTorch relay, symbolizing a collaborative journey toward the future of evaluation. Summit for the Future of Evaluation | Better Evaluation +2
